ITUTU LIBERATORY SELF-CARE RETREATS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

COVID-19 Terms

In the event of a government closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), resulting in the cancellation of Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats, participants will be contacted via email and presented with the available options. Participants have 7 business days to respond and indicate their preferred option. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the full amount related to the Retreat.

Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats is not required to provide a remedy if:

1. A participant is healthy but chooses not to attend due to fears of exposure to COVID-19;
2. A participant is unwell and unable to attend the event for reasons other than COVID-19 illness or symptoms;
3. A participant belongs to a group at higher risk of COVID-19;
4. A participant is denied entry into the event due to non-compliance with mandatory conditions such as mask-wearing according to local laws or refusal to provide contact information when requested. If you are symptomatic and have paid for an upcoming event, contact Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats immediately at hello@itutuapothecary.com to discuss your options. We strongly discourage attendance if you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and will work to find a mutually beneficial solution.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

You may cancel your participation at any time; however, please be aware of our non-refundable policy for all payments, including deposits, late fees, full payments, and installments. We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that might cause you to cancel your trip. This insurance should ideally be bought from a national insurer shortly after booking your reservation. Remember, airline-provided insurance often covers only the airfare. Consider purchasing comprehensive travel insurance directly.

TRANSFERS

Reservation transfers to another participant are permissible with a $150 transfer fee, which can be split between the transferor and the recipient. These transfers must be authorized by Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats to be valid. Unauthorized transfers will not be recognized, and no refund will be issued for the ticket price.

DELINQUENCIES

Payments more than fifteen (15) days overdue will incur a late payment fee of $50.00. If a reservation is over 30 days delinquent, Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats may cancel the reservation, and the standard cancellation and refund policy will apply.

FORCE MAJEURE

If Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats is prevented from fulfilling its obligations due to acts of God, strikes, trade disputes, fire, severe weather, breakdowns, transportation disruptions, government actions, wars, terrorism, third-party omissions, or any cause outside our reasonable control, we will credit your payments towards a future retreat. However, we will not be responsible for any other expenses, including preparation costs, airfare, and travel documents.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE

By participating in the retreat, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats, its officers, members, agents, employees, and other representatives for any claims, losses, or liabilities related to your travel and participation, regardless of cause. You are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other potential losses. It is your responsibility to secure the necessary visas and ensure passport validity for your travel.

INJURY

Should you sustain injuries during the Retreat, you agree to assume all financial obligations for any medical costs incurred. IN NO EVENT SHALL Itutu Liberatory Self-care Retreats BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES OR LIABILITIES ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE RETREAT.
